Matt Eusey, Pastor

Pastor Matt’s passion is the Gospel of Jesus of Christ and the how it forms God’s people into a community of grace.  His goal is to present the person and work of Christ as our only and sure hope every single Lord’s Day and to model a life dependent upon the power of the Gospel.  He loves people and loves developing relationships with the wonderful and diverse population of Oahu.

The Eusey family moved to Oahu in May, 2014.   Karyn, a pro soccer player when she and Matt met, graduated from the University of Florida and, before children, had a career as a software engineer.  They have four children who light up their lives: Stephen, Luther, Genevieve, and Dorothy.

Pastor Matt has served in churches in Columbia, SC, Orlando, FL, Redmond and Bellevue, WA and his home town of Philadelphia.  He is a graduate of Columbia International University, Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando and did additional studies at Westminster Theological Seminary.  He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America and regards Tim Keller, Sinclair Ferguson and Robert Rayburn as his greatest influences in ministry.  He is an avid fan of the Florida Gators and all Philadelphia sports teams – more of a curse than a blessing – and is unsuccessfully trying to learn how to surf.
